Riaz is an ACCA-qualified accountant, practice owner and business adviser with more than 15 years of experience across accountancy, cloud finance and business improvement. His career includes experience in Big Four and top-20 accountancy environments, as well as leading established accountancy practices and working closely with start-ups, owner-managed businesses and growing SMEs.
Throughout his career, Riaz has seen that business owners need more than accurate year-end accounts. They need timely information, reliable processes and practical advice that helps them understand what is happening now and decide what should happen next.
He created Kalaidescope to bring these elements together through a People, Process & Platform approach. This means considering the support and skills around the finance function, the processes used to produce information and the technology that enables the business to work more efficiently.
Riaz’s approach is commercial, straightforward and grounded in real business experience. He is particularly interested in helping businesses improve management reporting, cash-flow visibility, operational efficiency and the practical use of cloud technology.
His aim is to give business owners greater clarity, confidence and control, with accounting and advisory support that develops as their business grows.
